Geoffrey is a senior member of the NSW Bar. Over the length of his career he has practised in a range of areas, but his primary area of expertise is administrative and public law, in which he regularly appears and advises in a diversity of matters. He has appeared in most Courts and Administrative Tribunals, but the majority of his work is in Commonwealth Courts and Tribunals – especially the Federal Court of Australia. He has appeared in many matters in the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia and in the High Court Australia, mainly for Commonwealth departments and agencies.

Geoffrey also has extensive experience as a solicitor, having worked in such capacity in the Australian Government Solicitor’s office for ten years before coming to the NSW Bar in February 1989.
