Biography
Reg commenced practising at the Bar in 2007, after a distinguished academic career, in which she had been a Professor of Law at both the University of Sydney and UNSW. She has also held a number of visiting professorial appointments at law schools in the USA, Canada, South Africa, and France and from 2012, has been Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Sydney.
She was a full time Law Reform Commissioner for NSW and a part time member of the Australian Law Reform Commission, and also served on a number of tribunals and government advisory bodies.
She has advised on a diverse range of legal issues and has appeared in the Supreme Court of NSW (and the NSW Court of Appeal), the Federal Court of Australia (and the Full Federal Court), the High Court of Australia, the Land and Environment Court, the AAT, the Federal Circuit Court, the Full Family Court, The Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
