Biography
Trent has a diverse practise comprising public law litigation, commercial litigation and advising. He appears regularly in the Federal Court, and State and Territory Supreme Courts at first instance and appellate level. Much of his practise comprises complex and sensitive litigation that is the focus of media attention and parliamentary scrutiny.

Trent currently teaches public law at Sydney University. He is also a member of the NSW Bar Association’s Human Rights Committee, a member of the Editorial Board of LexisNexis’ Competition and Consumer Law News and an officer in the Royal Australian Navy Reserve. He is named in Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Employment & WHS Junior Counsel, NSW, 2017 and 2018.
