Thomas was called to the Bar in 2014 after having practised as a solicitor for over 7 years primarily in professional negligence and insurance policy disputes, and general commercial litigation.

While Thomas continues to practise principally in general commercial, professional negligence and insurance law, he also regularly advises and acts for individuals, companies, and various Federal and State government agencies in a variety of practice areas. He regularly appears in most courts, especially all State courts and the Federal Court.
